Mumbai to Goa 2023
Mumbai to Goa Cycle Tour was a huge success with a massive £90,000 raised!
There was blood, sweat and tears – quite literally – as each and every member of the team put their heart and soul in to completing the gruelling journey, cycling over 500km along the west coast of India, from Mumbai to Goa. We are forever grateful to these incredible individuals!
Together with One Kind Act, our charity partners for this event, we are working with Yuva Unstoppable, bringing flushing toilets, sanitation and Digital Classrooms to rural schools across India.
Along the journey, the team met with many children and visited several schools. One school really touched everyone’s hearts – hearing that the students walk up to 5 miles a day to get to school, and that the school has no fresh water supply, they pledged to help them. Immediately on their return to the UK they fulfilled their promise. A fresh water well has been built in the grounds, and 60 bicycles donated!
Since your kind donations have helped us to raise such an incredible amount of money, we’ve also been able to sponsor the education of individual students in India, at a cost of £1000 each pupil. The children would otherwise be leaving school to work to help support their families, but thanks to your generosity, these students can now further their education to fulfil their dreams. Some aspire to be doctors; others chartered accountants. We can’t wait to follow their journey!

Mumbai to Goa Cycle Tour
A huge challenge, cycling over 500km along the west coast of India, from Mumbai to Goa.
Donations will be very gratefully received here. Every penny donated will help to improve the lives of children and families experiencing difficulties and hardship across the world.
A joint escapade for Your One Wish and One Kind Act, to raise funds for the continued work of supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged children and families around the world.
We can’t wait to get started on this once in a lifetime journey along the west coast of India from Mumbai to Goa – cycling a huge 500km!
We have pledged to work with Yuva Unstoppable, bringing flushing toilets, sanitation and Digital Classrooms to rural schools across India.
89% of schools in India are not equipped with required technology. Moreover, traditional teaching learning methods have led to drop outs and absenteeism in schools. The best way to prevent poverty is through education, and a Digital Classroom, providing access to all the teachings of the world, is the simplest way to begin.
At a cost of around £3000 each classroom, this is a huge project that will be ongoing for many years, to improve the lives of as many children as possible.
We are forever grateful for your support, and cannot wait to show you the impact of your kind donation, and the difference it makes to these wonderful children and their families.
