In October 2020, we were contacted KIDS – a charity who support over 13,700 disabled children, young people and their families every year. They ensure disabled children from birth to 25 have the opportunity to learn, play, build friendships, gain confidence and improve their well-being and provide vital time, emotional and practical support to parents and siblings.
KIDS’ Orchard Centre in the West Midlands provides a range of services, including short breaks, after school clubs, youth groups and young carers groups. It’s a lifeline for the families who attend.
KIDS reached out to us as they were desperately in need of a vital piece of equipment – a rise and fall changing bed. We were more than happy to grant this wish, and we’re so pleased to hear of the impact such a small piece of equipment has had on the children and young people who use The Orchard Centre.
